Javier Serrano is an independent commercial insurance consultant. He is the owner and CEO of the J. Serrano Insurance Agency in Las Vegas, Nevada. Formerly a sole agent for Farmers Insurance in Nevada, he led his agency to multi-year award-winning status; insuring over $600-million in property and casualty along the way.

"People first," is not just a coined phrase, but rather an imperative for his personal and professional life. He does not 'sell' insurance policies; instead, he works to protect people, families, businesses, and their respective valued assets. The bottom line is that people chose to buy from him because they are positively overwhelmed by the high level of personal service he provides. His clients know they can depend on him to put their needs first, and that they will not be overcharged or pay more than they need to for coverage.

He is a native of Glendale, California, where he also met his wife, Denis. The couple has two young adult children, Giselle and Jayson. The whole family enjoys keeping active by participating in activities at the Las Vegas Swim Club, where the siblings swim.

As a decorated U.S. Navy veteran, Javier is proud to have served in Iraqi Freedom in 2003 and Enduring Freedom in 2001. After earning his associate degree in electronic engineering, he went on to study aeronautical science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

As a permanent student of life, he attributes working with people and his travels around the world as a positive and eye-opening experience. He is fluent in English and Spanish and enjoys reading, learning, and cooking healthy meals for family and friends.
